From Metro:
- After exiting the barrier in the Metro station, bear right and follow the sidewalk. IF WALKING is NOT an option, there is a free purple van called “Van Go” that will take you to a stop around the corner from the office entrance. The van picks up at the first bus stop you see to the right as you exit the METRO. Let the driver know you want to get off at Fenton and Wayne. You will need to walk down to Georgia Ave. You will see our office directly across the street on the opposite side of the Discovery Channel Building. There is a Subway on the street level. The building is 8484 Georgia Ave., Ste. 420 on 4th floor.
- If you choose to walk from the METRO, after exiting the barrier, bear right and follow the sidewalk out to Wayne Avenue. You will pass a number of bus stop stations on your way to Wayne Ave. There is a Subway on the street level. The building is 8484 Georgia Ave., Ste. 420 on 4th floor.
Driving from Downtown Washington
- Proceed north on 16th Street NW towards Maryland
- Merge right onto Alaska Ave, immediately after Walter Reed Medical Center
- Turn left onto Georgia Ave (US-29)
- Proceed north on Georgia Ave for approximately 1.5 miles
- NASN is on the left, on the corner of Georgia Ave. and Wayne Ave.
- For public parking (75 cents per hr.) turn right on Wayne Ave. and left into the facility called Wayne Ave. Parking.
Driving from Points North
- Head south on I-95 and merge (right lanes) onto the Capitol Beltway (I-495) heading west towards Silver Spring
- From the Capitol Beltway (I-495) take the Georgia Ave. (MD-97S) exit (Exit 31B S) towards Silver Spring
- Proceed south on Georgia Ave for approximately 1.5 miles; Turn right on Wayne Ave for one block and NASN is on the left at the corner of Dixon St (across from the Discovery Channel building).
- For public parking (75 cents per hr.) turn left on Wayne Ave and left again into the facility. There is also metered parking along the street which is sometimes available during the day.
Driving from Points South
- Head north on I-95 and continue north on I-395 via exit number 170A, towards Washington DC
- Merge onto the Capitol Beltway (I-495) towards Tysons Corner (going west)
- Take the Georgia Ave. (MD-97S) exit (Exit31B) south towards Silver Spring
- Proceed south on Georgia Ave for approximately 1.5 miles; NASN is in the building on the right just beyond Colesville Rd. (US-29) and across from the Discovery building.
- For public parking (75 cents per hr.) turn left on Wayne Ave and left again into the facility. There is also metered parking along the street which is sometimes available during the day.
