Donate to NASN (General Fund)

A gift to NASN's general fund helps to support the health and educational success of children and youth by developing and providing leadership to advance school nursing practice by specialized registered nurses.  

Educational Advancement Scholarship Fund

Designate your donation to the Educational Advancement Scholarship Fund.  This fund provides funding to members pursuing education beyond a baccalaureate degree.

Endowment Fund

The goal of every school nurse is that children will enter the classroom in optimal health and ready to learn.  When children miss school due to illness and other issues, they are excluded from the learning process.  The presence of a school nurse in the school setting assures the skilled management of health conditions such as: asthma, diabetes, violence, depression, allergies, and poor dietary habits. 

School Nurses identify problems with growth, vision, and hearing and are early identifiers of communicable diseases and mental health conditions.  With prompt referral and intervention, treatment and management are more effective.  In addition, school nurses provide for student wellness and safety as well as plan for and manage school crises, disasters and epidemics.

Please help us improve the health and educational success of children by supporting the NASN Endowment Fund to advance school nursing practice.  The endowment fund was established to:

• Support research about school nursing and health of school-age children;

• Fund grants that improve school nursing practice and school affiliated delivery of healthcare; and

• Provide scholarships for school nurses seeking graduate degrees and/or certification in advanced nursing practice.

Financial support of the NASN Endowment Fund qualifies as a charitable contribution and is deductible for federal income tax purposes to the maximum extent allowable by law.
