    Seats are filling quickly for the NASN School Nurse Certification Review Course at the NASN 2019 Conference in Denver.

    To register for this preconference event, select it on the registration form and pay an additional preconference fee.

    Description:  This 8-hour program provides a comprehensive and up-to-date review of the knowledge needed to become a nationally certified school nurse. Based on the 2019 NCSN exam content outline, participants will receive information that will not only promote national certification exam success, but will also enhance clinical nursing practice. This program will be taught by Dr. Janice Selekman who edited School Nursing: A Comprehensive Text as well as authoring NASN's School Nursing Certification Review. This preconference is sponsored by the National Board for the Certification of School Nurses in cooperation with NASN.

    Purpose:  The purpose of this activity is to enable the learner to acquire the information needed to be successful on the National Certification exam.

    Event Credits:  7.5 CNE Hours

    Dr. Selekman,

    I would love to attend as well but I will not be able to. Is there anyway that you would consider taping the event? Or making a Webinar? I would be happy to purchase it and I imagine many other members would as well. You would be able to reach so many other potential exam candidates that way. Please consider this option for those of us that cannot attend.

    This is the first time NASN has had a certification review course in about 15 years. This first one will be live only. We will discuss taping at another time. However, there are things I can say in a live classroom that I would not include on tape. I am not an employee of either NASN or NBCSN, so that gives me a little extra leeway in a live course!!!

    I'm waiting to hear about the test I took in March but it would be great (if I need to take it again). To have a class in Massachusetts.  I would drive any where (within a few hours). To take the class!

    I would really appreciate it also if you would tape the event. I live in Colorado, but I can't make the event unfortunately. Would you make a webinar or just a video of your class at the convention please? I think that there are many of us that would like to listen to your lecture as well as read your book.
