National Certification Exam Candidates

  • 1.  Question regarding CEUs

    Good Morning,

    Do we receive CEUs for the certification exam (prep time and taking the test)? Does it depend on your state? One of the questions after the exam was done questioned whether you were getting CEU credits?

    Any insight?

    Whether you receive CEU credit within your state or district would be up to that state or district.  You cannot receive CEU credit toward NCSN recertification for prep work because any CEU credit would only be applicable for credit taken after your initial certification date which would be around the date of your exam.

    I am not familiar with a question following the exam regarding CEU credit. The only question I can think of that you might be referring to is

     

    My state accepts NCSN certification to fulfill my continuing education requirement


    If you can help to clarify this it would be helpful to me.
