I wanted to clarify how the SchoolNurseNet Study Group works, as it is a little different from a traditional scheduled class or course.
SchoolNurseNet is an online community that serves as an interactive discussion space where members can connect, share experiences, ask questions, and learn from one another. Rather than requiring members to attend classes at specific dates and times, the community allows you to participate whenever your schedule permits.
New discussion topics and content will be posted weekly, and members are encouraged to participate by reading posts, sharing their thoughts, responding to discussions, asking questions, and engaging with other members.
Think of it as an ongoing conversation rather than a live class. You can check in throughout the week and participate when it works best for you.
There is one Zoom meeting at the beginning of each study session, held before each NCSN testing window. The purpose of this meeting is to kick off the study group, introduce the moderators, explain how the online community works, and provide an overview of what participants can expect. There are no additional required Zoom meetings throughout the study session.
If you weren't able to attend the kickoff Zoom meeting, you have not missed your opportunity to participate. You can still join the online community at any time and participate in the weekly discussions.
