The COVID-19 Pandemic & Chronic Health Conditions - The School Nurse Role in Promoting Health Equity is an educational offering developed in partnership between the Tennessee Department of Education, the Colorado Department of Education, and NASN.
This online course has 4.0 CNE contact hours. The course provides school nurses with a fresh perspective about what has changed and what has not changed as it relates to school nursing practice and the management of chronic health conditions while in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Evidence-based current information, tools/resources, and strategies will support the confidence and competence of the school nurse role in promoting health equity for at-risk students that have a chronic health condition.
