Program Overview
During this three part series, school nurses will learn from an experienced school teacher and administrator with over 20 years’ experience. During the first webinar, Mr Reddicks will share how his schools have used data from the school nurses’ office and student academic data to illustrate the link between school nurses and academic progression. In the second webinar, Mr Reddicks will share how to frame school health in terms that principals and superintendents can best understand, and how to tie health to school and district priorities. In the third webinar, the discussion of health and academics will continue by describing how schools can leverage funds from the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) for school health.
