Bio

Amy E. Dark, MSN, BA, RN, Certified School Nurse-Teacher is a registered nurse who specialized in school health for 15 years in Rhode Island. Amy has focused interest in K-12 health education within her  practice as a school nurse-teacher, participating in the Rhode Island Health Education Framework Advisory Group and collaborating with school health colleagues to provide current, evidence-based health curriculum to students of all grade levels. Amy holds a Master of Science in Nursing, Population and Public Health from Rhode Island College and uses her nursing and health education experience to care for all learners and support state and federal vaccination program initiatives, a key component in school health and wellness. Amy is a Doctor of Nursing Practice student at the University of New Hamshire, focusing on Quality Improvement and Leadership.
