Bio

​Carol A. Walsh, PMP, serves as Managing Director of Operations for the National Association of School Nurses (NASN).  She has expertise in project and portfolio management, strategic planning, program development, fundraising, and operations. Prior work includes serving as project manager for the American Speech Language Hearing Association's Practice Portal, an innovative solution linking research and practice guidance and resources in a seamless tool to aid speech language pathologists and audiologists in serving their clients.  She served as Administrator for the Alliance for Full Participation, a coalition of organizations and stakeholders sharing a commitment to the inclusion of people with developmental disabilities into the mainstream of American life and was instrumental in the design and delivery of their two summits.  As a member of The University Team, she was responsible for the development of the seminal Finding, Building, Keeping training series; foundational tools for financial services leaders.  During her work as an independent consultant clients included HodgsonConsulting, GAMA Foundation, GAMA International, Procter & Gamble,  ANCOR, whorunsgov.org, and the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority.  She is passionate about helping teams and organizations move from strategy to implementation. A native Washingtonian, she lives in Silver Spring, MD with her husband and two daughters and loves Duke basketball and Clemson football.
