Revisited Featured Cards
- Sharon will create a brief video tutorial and share it with you (the original video was ineffective as the photo library was not working on the test site being used)
Style (CSS) that adds a thin border around HTML content items: HLLandingControl
- Bulleted lists (ordered or unordered) don't work well with this style
- Sharon will follow-up with documentation on how to resolve issues when using the HLLandingControl style with a bulleted list
Advertising
- Shared documentation (https://support.higherlogic.com/hc/en-us/articles/360032700432-Advertisements-Website-Ads)
- Discussed how it is for one image not rotating
- Shared ARP's info to use as a resource
- Shared our labeling of "advertisement" above the ads on our site and in Digest
- Shared how our privacy statement includes language about tracking technologies
- Showed where ads show up on the site (used OASN's as an example; used NASN's as an example)
Editing the home page
- Refer to software documentation (https://support.higherlogic.com/hc/en-us/articles/360033047111-Build-Page-Layout-and-Content) and recording with "heavy" notes (https://www.nasn.org/viewdocument/2022-06-22-micro-website-admin-trai?CommunityKey=5c8ae26a-faca-4965-8754-4998ddcd2970&tab=librarydocuments)
- Must use Edit Page
- Can click and drag content items around
- Can hide content items instead of deleting them
- Can change the viewing permissions to member only but use everyone in most cases
Bookmarks and anchor links
- Reviewed this tool and showed how to use it briefly
- Discussed its limited use case
