One PSE strategy that I am championing for next school year is healthy foods, healthy kids. We will not only build a garden, but we will be teaching the kids how to harvest and work in the garden. I would like to get a few grants to do some other projects to promote healthy lifestyles in our schools.

Do the hunger test I connect students to a local food resource atheist for the students who come to see nurse.

I plan on implementing the hunger vital sign to identify students at high risk for food insecurity and reach out to parents/guardians with resources.

I will try to write a grant to help partner with local markets and farmers to get fruits and veggies to student and families.
