The state-specific curriculum is a small part of a larger project, that includes the development of a national curriculum and a pilot site study in 4 states. The role of the state-specific curriculum is 2-fold.
- Provide nurses in the pilot site study in these 4 states which state-specific information related to diabetes care in schools, as a supplement to the national curriculum they will receive.
- To be a resource for all school nurses in your state to gain knowledge and access to state-specific practice requirements for T1D care in schools and state-specific resources.
