The National Association of School Nurses (NASN) has endorsed the bipartisan School Access to Naloxone Act , legislation designed to help schools obtain naloxone and ensure personnel are trained to respond to opioid overdose emergencies. "School nurses know firsthand that access to emergency medication can save lives. No school community should be left unprepared for an opioid-related emergency, " said NASN President Lynn Nelson, MSN, RN, NCSN.
