Food Allergies and Anaphylaxis

The Centers for Disease Control has worked with NASN, the Food Allergy Research & Education and the National School Boards Association to develop comprehensive guidance and resources for food allergy and anaphylaxis management in the school setting.

The voluntary guidelines assist school nurses in developing or enhancing a comprehensive food allergy management program for the school community. The checklist provides an overview of how to use this document and provide leadership in the individual school nursing practice.
