Board of Directors

President

The President is the Chief Executive of the OSHNA Board and as such, shall enforce all the provisions and purposes thereof. The President serves a 1- year term.

Anna Coss, MSN, BSN, H. BS, RN, NCSN

Anna began her school nursing career in 2021 at Kaiserslautern Elementary School in Germany, where she continues today, serving also as Student Support Team Chair. She is an American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor and recently achieved her National School Nurse Certification. Anna received her Master's in Nursing Administration and Leadership in 2011, Bachelor's of Science in Nursing in 2004, and Honors Bachelor's of Science in Zoology and Biology in 2001. She is currently working on a post-graduate certificate in Public Health. Prior to school nursing, Anna worked as a nurse in inpatient and outpatient cardiology and inpatient case management. In her free time, Anna stays busy as a soccer mom, traveling, and as Event and Camp Nurse for USA Girl Scouts Overseas.

Past President

The Past-President serves for a 1-year term in an advisory role to the organization.

Maria Cristina Hall, MHA, BSN, RN

President-Elect

The President-Elect performs the duties of the President in his/her absence. The President-Elect serves a 1- year term followed by a 1-year term as President, followed by a 1-year term as Past-President.

Secretary

The Secretary serves a 2-year term and records the minutes of all meetings of the General Membership and the Board of Directors.

Elizabeth Schuster-Shoaf, MSN, BSN, RN

Treasurer

The Treasurer serves a 2-year term and must have SOFA status if required by the current banking establishment. The Treasurer oversees and disburses the funds of the organization as approved by the Board and/or General Membership. 

R. Marissa Gregg, M.Ed., BSN, RN, NCSN

I am a Nationally Certified School Nurse with 20 years of experience and am beginning my 11th school year at Baumholder Middle High School in Germany. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of serving students at Croughton Elementary School in England, Bitburg Elementary School in Germany, and Alamogordo Public Schools in New Mexico.

Information Technology

Professional Development

The Professional Development Officer is appointed to a 1-year term and performs the following duties: Secures Continuing Nurse Education (CNE) for General Membership, coordinates with President-Elect and various colleges and universities to ensure that graduate credits are available to participants of educational offerings sponsored by OSHNA, and coordinates with professional nursing organizations to facilitate availability of CNE at annual conferences.

Membership

The Membership Services Officer is appointed to a 1-year term and performs the following duties:

1. Active recruitment of new members and assist in maintaining current membership.

2. Maintains and posts a monthly updated membership listing to Board of Directors and Area Liaisons.

3. Coordinates with the NASN Director to ensure that joint NASN/OSHNA membership applications are made available to all potential new members.

4. Sends out renewal notices to members 30 days before their expiration date.

Dorinda Savchenko, MSN, RN

Parliamentarian

The Parliamentarian is appointed for a 1-year term and attends all Board meetings as a non-voting member and may cast a vote only when a secret ballot is taken. Assures that all meetings are conducted IAW Robert’s Rules of Order Newly Revised in Brief, as long as said procedures do not conflict with OSHNA Constitution and Bylaws.

NASN Director

The NASN Director is appointed by the Board to a 4-year term. Criterion for this position includes previously serving as a member of the Board. The Director reports directly to the President. 

Charlotte Geehreng, MHA, BSN, RN

Charlotte Geehreng has been a nurse for 34 years. Graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She entered the Air Force, working as a Telemetry, ER, Med-Surg, Flight Nurse, and NICU nurse before leaving service to raise her two daughters with her husband, Paul. They have lived in Japan, Germany, Florida, and now in Belgium. Charlotte has a Master of Healthcare Administration and earned her Doctorate in Leadership for Organizations. She tried school nursing for the first time, subbing in Germany in 2008 and her own school nurse office in Belgium in 2016. She was the 2021 School Nurse of the Year for OSHNA recipient, president of OSHNA in 2022 & 2023, and became the NASN Director in 2024.
