Miscellaneous Opportunities

OSHNA and NASN believe the quality of nursing practice is directly linked to the practitioner's body of knowledge and skill level. The availability of national, regional, state, and local educational activities related to practicing in the school setting, benefits the school nurse and the children and communities served.

Western Schools: ANCC Accredited. Volumes of all different nursing specialties can be found. State specific required courses are listed as well.

Teaching Channel: Graduate and postgraduate credits. Most of the courses are teacher-oriented, but there are multiple courses that are appropriated specifically for school nurses.

Northeastern University School Health Academy (NEUSHA): Provides engaging, professional learning opportunities that benefit the health, safety and achievement of all youth.
