 Tools for Schools UPDATED!

Tools for Schools Resources - A Resource Kit for School Nurses
Pertussis (whooping cough), hepatitis A, hepatitis B, polio, and the flu continue to be relevant diseases among children, adolescents, and even adults. Yet parents, teachers, and staff may be unaware of these diseases and their risks. As a healthcare professional, you can help raise awareness of these diseases and the importance of appropriate vaccinations.

Tools for Schools is designed to help you educate parents, students, teachers, and staff about pertussis, hepatitis A, hepatitis B, polio, and the flu.  It details the risks of the diseases in children, adolescents, and adults and the importance of making sure to receive the appropriate immunizations, including booster shots.  Tools for Schools includes everything from basic background information to instructions on what to do if there is an outbreak in your community.
