NASN Information The National Association of School Nurses is a non-profit specialty nursing organization, incorporated in 1977, which represents school nurses exclusively. NASN has nearly 15,000 members and 51 affiliates, including the District of Columbia and overseas.

NASN's External Communications Procedure: In most circumstances, the NASN President, Executive Director, or their designee serves as organizational spokespersons for the Association. The NASN Director serves as the liaison and official NASN spokesperson to the NASN Affiliate he/she represents. The NASN Media Team will contact the NASN President or Executive Director if reporters are interested in writing an article on the national level or the state NASN Director if reporters are interested in writing an article on the state level.
