Elise Edjang, PhD, BSN, RN.
Dr. Elise Edjang is a dedicated and experienced professional school nurse currently serving at Rosaryville Elementary School, a school with a population of students on the Autism Spectrum Disorder. With 18 years as a Registered Nurse, her diverse clinical background includes Medical-Surgical, Oncology, Hospice, Orthopedics, Rehabilitation, Urgent Care, and School Nursing.
Dr. Edjang holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a PhD in Philosophy. She is also a published author of the impactful book "Saving The Child," which reflects her commitment to child health and advocacy.
A passionate advocate for autism awareness, Dr. Edjang brings both professional expertise and personal insight to her work. As a nurse caring for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), she bridges the gap between caregiving and lived experience.
Dr. Edjang is a frequent speaker at autism-related events, where she shares her journey and empowers families, educators, and healthcare professionals to foster inclusive, understanding environments for all children.
