My name is Jason Raether, and I would love for you to join me at NASN2026 is Las Vegas, Nevada on Wednesday, July 1, from 2:00pm - 3:15pm to be part of my session: Seizures And Epilepsy In School Health: Connecting With Empathy And Personal Experience.
Diagnosed with epilepsy in October, 2010, I want to take you on my personal journey of how this diagnosis changed my life as a person, as a nurse, and how it affects my care of all students I work with in the school setting, but especially those with seizures and epilepsy.
This presentation will take you through the hard moments, times that will make you laugh, maybe some that will make you cry, and along the way...connect it to our School Nursing Practice Framework and Social Drivers of Health and Health-Related Social Needs.
