NOTE: Poster presentations will be at both events. 

IN-PERSON NASN2023

Educational sessions presented in person; no presentations recorded or streamed. 

Annual business meeting on July 2, 2023, at 2:30 PM. 

Exhibit hall on June 30, 2023 (1:00 PM - 5:00 PM) and July 1, 2023 (9:30 AM - 1:30 PM).

Special interest group meetings, awards and dance party, product theaters, and other in-person learning and networking opportunities.

VIRTUAL NASN2023

Educational sessions broadcast online; if the broadcast is missed, presentations are recorded and can be viewed through October 12, 2023. 

Anytime sessions provide more education at your convenience; view anytime between July 10, 2023 and October 12, 2023.

Two sponsored sessions hosted by vendors on July 10, 2023. 

Braindate on July 11, 2023 and July 12, 2023 (8:00 AM - 10:30 AM | 4:00 PM - 9:30 PM). Schedule virtual braindates with other attendees.

The National Association of School Nurses is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

What is included with my IN-PERSON NASN2023 registration fee?

Admittance to educational sessions on June 30 - July 3, 2023.
Admittance to NASN Awards and Dance Party, the Annual Meeting, and Exhibit Hall.
A digital program and syllabus containing session materials shared by speakers.
Up to 20.0 NCPD contact hours.

NOTE: Lodging, travel, and meals are additional expenses.

Are meals provided?

NASN provides limited complimentary food; please plan accordingly

How is NASN addressing health concerns?

NASN is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for participants. Read the Health and Safety Protocols for more information.

When can I pick up conference materials?

The NASN Registration and Service Desk is open on June 29, 2023, at 7:00 AM Eastern and again at 7:00 AM the following four days. Signage will direct you to the desk where you can pick up your conference materials including name badge and program.

NOTE: Name badges must be worn for all sessions and events admittance. A name badge is proof of registration. Without it, individuals may not be allowed to participate in conference activities.

How do I access session handouts?

NASN will print handouts designated by speakers for use during sessions and provide them to attendees.

A digital program and syllabus will be available in June and is easy to access on any computer, tablet, or smartphone.

NOTE: The syllabus includes abstracts for each session and any materials provided by speakers. NASN makes every effort to collect speaker slides and handouts.

Do I need reserved seating for educational sessions?

Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

How will I receive conference updates?

Email: NASN will primarily use email to provide information and updates. Please be sure your email is current. If you register and do not receive a confirmation email, be sure to reach out to NASN's customer service team to be sure your email is current.

Event App: The event app will be used by NASN to send important notifications throughout the conference. 

NASN encourages attendees to bring a mobile device and download the conference event app. A mobile device can also be used to ask speaker questions during sessions. Be sure to keep the ringer turned off as a courtesy to others.

How do I attend VIRTUAL NASN2022?

VIRTUAL NASN2023 will be hosted on the NASN Learning Center platform.

How do I access session handouts?

A digital program and syllabus will be available in June and is easy to access on any computer, tablet, or smartphone.

NOTE: NASN makes every effort to collect speaker slides and handouts.

Will content be available after July 12, 2023?

VIRTUAL NASN2023 has a mix of sessions that will be presented July 10-12, 2023 and Anytime sessions that will be available to view anytime beginning July 10, 2023.

For the best experience and engagement, NASN encourages attendees to view sessions that are presented when they are presented. However, all sessions will be recorded and available for viewing through October 12, 2023.

NOTE: NASN reserves the right to withhold or limit access to recordings based on agreements with speakers. Attendees will be notified if this is applicable. 

What kind of engagement will there be at VIRTUAL NASN2023?

During the sponsored and educational sessions on July 10-12, 2023, attendees can chat with other attendees in the text-based chat, respond to polls, and submit questions to speakers. Immediately following each session, speakers will appear live on camera to participate in a Q&A using questions submitted by attendees. 

Following each educational session, NASN will post a discussion thread with details about the session. Attendees may use the thread to discuss the session with other attendees.

On July 11, 2023 and July 12, 2023, attendees can schedule and participate in virtual braindates on the Braindate platform.
