CDC’s YRBS Data Summary & Trends Report: 2011-2021 is now available. This report provides the most recent 10-year trends on the health and well-being of U.S. high school students. The findings underscore that adolescent mental health is declining and that schools, parents/caregivers, and the community must provide resources to support teens.

Donna Mazyck, the executive director of NASN, said, “Schools need state and district level policies and programs in collaboration with state and local mental health, family, and youth development community groups,” in a recent Education Week article about the report.
