Thanks Pat, I contacted Prometric and cancelled my appointment. I also sent in my request to NBCSN. My one question is will I have to send in all that paperwork again? Or does NBCSN keep my file open and for how long? Although cancelling the appointment is expensive, I am simply not ready to take this ...

I recall learning way back when that nurses had to have a provider's order to give any medicine to a patient. I don't think that has changed. I have a sheet of standing orders most of which specify that I can only give these with written permission of the parent/guardian and the dosage is to be determined ...
