Bio

My school nursing career started the fall of 2014 with the Moses Lake School District. Prior to that I worked in Family Practice for approximately 8 years and did some agency nursing on the side. I received my ADN from Big Bend Community College, BSN from Washington State University, and Masters in Nursing Education from Western Governors University October 2015. I have been a member of the School Nurse Organization of Washington (SNOW) since fall of 2014 and was the Committee Chair for our 2016 Spring Conference.  Currently, I am serving on the NASN Board as the Washington State Director.  I am a single mom with one son and in our down time we like to fish, archery hunt, and camp.  My son is very active in sports and I have found myself recently learning the rules of football.  We are also active with Cub Scouts / Boy Scouts in our area and I am one of the Health Officers for the Grand Columbia Council.  An interesting fact about me, I play ice hockey with our local adult league.
