One of the nicest things about the Association of School Nurses of Connecticut (ASNC) website is the Member Directory.
Members will mainly use the directory to email other members and search for members. This might not sound like much but the application of these uses can really come in handy.
Imagine you met someone at an ASNC conference or meeting and you want to follow-up with him or her but didn't get his/her email address. You don't need this in order to reach out to another member. You can email members using the member directory.
Imagine you heard about a great resource developed by a school district on your state but you don't know anyone in that district. You can search the member directory by company and then send an email to one or more members n that district.
How to email members in the Member Directory
Members can send emails to individual members by finding the member in the directory and using the send message feature to send an email. The send message feature is displayed as a button next to the member's name in the directory and/or in the member's profile.
How to search the Member Directory
Members can do a basic search or advanced search. Choose one of these search options using the links just under the page title. In the basic search, you can search by name, company or email address. In the advance search, you can search the basic search parameters plus search by city or school (company).
