Your Association of School Nurses of Connecticut (ASNC) website profile stores your contact information, email preferences, demographics, and more.
Your ASNC website profile is synchronized with your profile on the NASN website and the NASN SchoolNurseNet website. No matter which website you are on, you will access the same profile. If you update your profile on one website, it will automatically be updated on the others.
The following information provides more tips about this resource.
Profile picture: Adding a profile picture can make your discussion list posts more personal. Please consider adding one. There is a button below the profile picture placeholder that will allow you to upload a photo. If you don't want to share a profile shot, you can use a photo of your pet or a scenery picture.
Contact details: Review your contact details regularly to ensure that you receive all print and email mailings from ASNC and NASN. If you need to edit your contact details, you can do so in your profile. When you click on the editing pencil or the edit contact details button, you will be redirected to a form in the NASN membership database. The form is separated into several steps. Complete your edits and then use the buttons at the bottom of the form to move through the entire form and then save your changes.
Bio and other demographics: Logging a bio, your education background, job history and other professional items is useful for the purposes of having the information in one location should you need it for a resume or award application.
My connections: You can build a contact list here and also review a complete list of communities you belong to; communities including ones on NASN's SchoolNurseNet website.
My contributions: In this area, you can review messages you have posted to discussion lists and more.
My account: This area stores all of the individual email you receive from others using the website to reach you directly; it does not include your email from discussion lists. It also stores your personal preferences including your privacy settings. You should look closing at this area and all that is controlled here.
If you have any questions, contact ASNC.
