Measles Outbreaks: How Schools Can Help

In a majority of states and the District of Columbia, measles immunization rates have fallen below the level needed to protect against outbreaks. 

In a recent EducationWeek article, NASN President Kate King discussed the reluctance to immunize, the effects of vaccine-preventable diseases, and the opportunity for schools and school nurses to build relationships and have productive conversations about immunizations.
