I took my exam this morning and PASSED!

This was my 2nd attempt and I was so nervous going in. I will say there were items on the test that I had absolutely no idea. Not even sure I remember reading about them anywhere.

I started my study habits in April by using the Study guide, taking the test at the end of the chapter 1st and then reading the chapter and highlighting the areas that I got wrong in the end of chapter test.

I took both online exams 2-3 times just to get the feel of taking the tests.

I also used the School Nurse  A Comprehensive Text book as a tool for areas that I didn't do well in on the tests in the study book and the online test. I also created my own flash cards with the information that I continually was  confused about.

The week before the exam I retook all of the tests, 1 per day, and wrote out the answers that I still got wrong. I then reviewed those answers every night.

Since I have decided to change jobs in the past month I have lost the financial incentive for passing this exam,  since my new district doesn't recognize the National Certification. With the way I am feeling today, I don't care. I am proud of myself for this accomplishment!

Congratulations to everyone that has already passed.

Good luck to those that are still preparing to take the exam.

And for those that didn't pass, DON'T give up. You can do it!

Congratulations Lauren, all your hard work paid off. I noticed you used the credential right away, very good. We are proud of you, and you never know when having that credential will pay off.

    Warm regards,
