Hello everyone. I have been a nurse for almost 32 years. I have been a school nurse for the past four years and absolutely love it. I am very fortunate to work in a school district that now has a nurse in every school! I have learned how crucial this position is and how it can enhance the lives of our students, families, and community as a whole. I recently obtained my BSN this past fall and have just completed the instructor certification for AHA. I am currently working on putting together an emergency response team in my school and I would like to obtain the national certification for school nurse. My overall goal is to enhance the school health services in my community. I appreciate the opportunity to participate in this group and look forward to learning more.
