National Certification Exam Candidates

Upon being hired as school nurse, to obtain the school nurse certification was a requirement. I knew that it was a stipulation that came along with the job, however, I realized that I really needed to become more knowledgeable about the job and how to care for children in a school setting. Every day I learn something new about the laws that govern the school system as it relates to children's overall health, wellness, and wellbeing. I am learning new insights and perspectives of this type of nursing. School nursing is a specialty set apart from mainstream nursing and I have worked in a plethora of nursing specialties. I look forward to becoming a certified school nurse. I am said that I didn't pass the certification in July, but I hope to obtain some ways on how to pass it this time.
