    Exam Prep Update - Spring 2026

    Summer is a great time to prepare for the NCSN exam! And ready or not, it's just around the corner!!!!!  If you are considering taking the summer test, the upcoming registration window opens April 6, 2026 and closes June 9, 2026. The testing window runs from July 9 through August 16, 2026. Preparation can begin now by reviewing the many resources available to help you get ready for the exam.  The Study Roadmap will guide you to the recommended textbooks and key study materials.  Additional resources are found here:  Suggested References and Resources.

    The 2025 digital edition of the School Nursing Certification Review book, by Janice Selekman, DNSc, RN, NCSN, FNASN, and Elizabeth Knox, MSN, RN, NCSN, CPHN, NE-BC, is available for purchase through the NBCSN application site. To purchase, visit the NBCSN Exam Prep website for additional details.  Additional resources are also available on the NBCSN Exam Prep Page, which includes several tools designed to support your preparation for the exam.     The course will officially begin on May 22nd, but we will be doing a Zoom session on May 6th at 7 PM ET.  More information will follow soon.  We hope to see you there!
