I have been studying in this way. I first take the tests at the end of the assigned chapter in the review book. For questions missed, I make my own index cards for daily review. I then read the assigned chapter in the review book. I then retake the test to make sure I understand what I missed the first time. I have also been reading the assigned chapters in the "Comprehensive Text" book. I also plan to take the online review class. I took test #1 of the sample tests and I passed so that is helping to keep me motivated. So far, I have been satisfied with my progress and learning. I am already seeing the benefits in my daily practice. I am trying to not get overwhelmed with studying, but I'm doing a bit everyday. I was surprised at how much I remember by simply reviewing every day.

I have also been study in the same manner. I take the test first. Then highlight the ones I got wrong and review that information. --

Yes, thank you so much Shari for sharing this. I have been struggling to adapt any studying in and I just printed this and am going to adapt your style if I can. Thank you!

I made myself a calendar to lay out all the days I have until my test. I have set goals each day for how much to read and study - review book, comprehensive text, study cards. I've taken the e-course and have all the printouts to go back and study/reference. I haven't taken the 2 practice exams, but did fairly well on the chapter 2 assessment. I definitely need to focus on understanding the theories - Piaget and Erikson!

When I took my NCLEX ages ago I spent nearly 3 months studying questions, this feels like a huge gap in studying for this test. I would love any tools available that are simply tons and tons of questions to practice with. I find the study cards are less effective for me than taking tests and studying areas I miss. Any help would be appreciated!
