I took my test today and passed! 648. I studied the books recommended. I bought the nurse builders course and listened to it multiple times. I made flashcards. I did not flag any question- I answered and moved on. Good luck everyone, you've got this!

I took it last week and passed!. Read the book several times and took the Nurse Builders course (this course prepared me well). I took the test and then went through it one more time. I am glad I did as I misread one question I would have gotten wrong. Good luck!

I took the exam last week and passed!  I really wish I could see the ones that I got wrong.  So glad it's done.  Good luck everyone.  Take your time and read each question slowly.

Taking my exam on Thursday! I have mostly been studying the Review book/exam questions and doing the practice exams. For those who have completed the exam-about how long did it take you?

It took me about 1 hour and 15 mins and then I went back through and read each question again to make sure I read them correctly. Glad I did, as I misread 1 question and would have gotten it wrong.

It took me just short of 2 hours.  I flagged 8 questions and when I came back to them, I still didn't know the answer so I just hoped for the best!  Passed with 668

I'm taking it this Friday, first thing in the morning!  We know this!  Good luck everyone and congratulations on those that passed.  And for those that were close, just think what better school nurses you are just preparing for this challenging certification.

I am schedule for next week.  The nerves are kicking in.  Using more practice test to train myself to slow down. I have two different sets of glasses - I am wondering will they allow one to bring both pairs of glasses in the room? Which ones I use will be determined by the size and placement of the screen.

My testing site took all personal belongings and locked them in a bag.  They might inspect your glasses for any hidden cameras, but I doubt they would have a problem letting you bring in two pairs.

I took it this morning and PASSED!  AZ has a program (ASAP) that supported candidates with access to the review book, Dr. Selekman's course, and a support/learning group.  The access to learning materials and support through the preparation process really helped me get to a successful test day.  It might take a village to raise a child, but it took the participants in this program to support me in obtaining my certification!

    Hi Tecoma,

The ASAP program was specific to AZ nurses. However, the study group on this Discussion list is similar and helps guide your studying for the exam. Robin Cogan posts weekly study suggestions, topic areas, and testing tips every week for 7 weeks prior to the start of each testing window. You can also look back to see past 7 week sessions.

    Good Luck!

    Sandi
