NASN is offering a $5,000 research grant through the American Nurses Foundation (ANF) for beginner and experienced nurse researchers for studies to advance nursing science and enhance care. Awardee must be a current member of NASN and a qualified professional school nurse engaged in school nurse practice, education or research.
Research studies eligible for this funding focus on school nurse impact on health disparities, students with chronic health conditions, student safety; innovative models of school nursing practice; cost-benefit analysis of school nursing; or impact of school nurse activities related to social determinants of health on student health and education outcomes.
The deadline for applications is May 1st.
