An NJSSNA Voice for Activism

School nurses have been asked to tell their stories for the 50th Anniversary of NASN. One of our own NJSSNA members has become a voice to be reckoned with. Robin Cogan  MEd, RN, NCSN, is a School Nurse in the Camden City School District, Camden, NJ; and Adjunct Faculty, at Rutgers University School of Nursing, Camden, NJ. She uses this voice in her own weekly blog, "The Relentless School Nurse. (This can be found on the NASN School Nurse Net blog page.)" Recently this article entitled, Why I Became a School Nurse Activist, was featured in NURSING ECONOMIC$/March-April 2018/Vol. 36/No.2. Robin tells a powerful story about her life and what has motivated her into action. Read her inspiring story. Congratulations to Robin, a shining example to us all, of a true, School Nurse Activist and Advocate for 21st Century Student Health.
