October marks the one year anniversary when the Framework for 21st Century School Nursing PracticeTM was adopted by the NASN Board of Directors. In the past year, some wonderful work has been done using the Framework.
School nurses report hanging the poster in their office to remind them of the Framework principles, and using it to organize their work for the year. School nurse consultants and administrators have used the Framework to organize training materials and how they send weekly emails. The more we share how the Framework is being used, the more useful it becomes so please share your use of it on an earlier Framework blog.
We have had many requests for a presentation that can be used to introduce and explain the Framework. Your requests have been heard! Use this template and adapt it as needed.
Other Framework resources available to you include a two-page handout, a one-page poster, guidelines for reprint and use, and a podcast.
