Hello NASN Officers and Directors,
I'm excited to report that later today, we will release an updated SchoolNurseNet website. The new website is built to look great on all of your devices; desktops, laptops, tablets, and smartphones.
This change in technology is called Responsive Design and was developed in response to the growing use of multiple devices with varying screen sizes. The main changes you'll notice have to do with the options in the main menu across the top of the page AND the content on the home page.
These changes are based on current best practices for website navigation and layout. We can and will make minor changes to these best practices based on our unique needs BUT are releasing the update with the best practices in place.
Attached is a screen shot of the new home page for your immediate reference.
If you have questions or concerns after the release, please let me know.
In the meantime, please keep these things in mind:
1. The NASN Board community link can be found under the COMMUNITIES menu option.
2. The Executive Committee community link can be found under the COMMUNITIES menu option.
3. The All Member Forum link can be found under the COMMUNITIES menu option.
4. The slides on the home page will change to reflect our website's color palette and our site's unique purpose.
5. Two new video tutorials will be released before the new year to help you navigate the PROFILE and new COMMUNITIES menu.
6. Short SchoolNurseNet webinars will be offered quarterly to increase understanding and use of this resource beginning in January.
