    Hello Community Administrators,

For all of you moms out there, Happy Mother's Day!  Below is a quick update of the transition from the discussion list system to the SchoolNurseNet community site as well as a request to share some information with your group.

As you may or may not know, NASN launched an upgrade to its database last week.  This launch required a great deal of effort and resources and we are still working through post-launch testing to be sure the database and SchoolNurseNet are still connected the way they were before the launch.  If you notice any issues with your community membership or with the data in your profile, please don't hesitate to contact me.

With the launch behind us, we are moving forward with transitioning our discussion lists to SchoolNurseNet.  Over the next week, we will begin notifying our special interest group (SIG) list subscribers about SchoolNurseNet.  I will be in touch with our SIG community admins and chairs for input.

Later this month, we will begin notifying our member sub-specialty list subscribers [Elementary School Nurses; Secondary School Nurses; School Nurse Administrators; Global Issues; Nursing Languages and Information Technology / Informatics; School Nurse Promotion] about the transition.

After the conference, we will begin notifying our all-audience list subscribers [SCHLRN-L; Oral Health Forum] about the transition.

If you have questions or concerns, please let me know.

In the meantime, please share this announcement with your community.  Valerie Beshears should use SchoolNurseNet to reach her Affiliate President community and the rest of you will use the Discussion List system to reach your communities since we haven't transitioned them yet.
