Hello from the NASN office!
We wanted to make community and website admins aware of a new feature that will be added to the All Member Forum in January.
The new feature is "anonymous posting." This feature will ONLY be available with the All Member Forum.
The NASN staff will create informational materials and communications to inform NASN members about this new feature. Information will be shared beginning in January.
Essentially, the feature works like this:
- When submitting a post to the All Member Forum online, on the website and not from an email reply, members will have the option to post the message anonymously.
- When the anonymous feature is selected, the member will be asked to confirm their understanding of the feature before they use it. Essentially, posts will will not include the member's name and must be in line with the code of conduct.
- All anonymous posts will be held for approval by the All Member Forum admin, Sheila Caldwell, with support from me as the community site admin.
We are excited to offer this new feature to support members in posting questions they may, otherwise, not have posted without anonymity.
If you have any questions or concerns, please reply to this message or reach out to me directly. Thank you so much.
