    In MS, we receive a $6k yearly stipend for becoming certified.

    That depends on your state, or district or school. It is something that many people negotiate.

    In my district in PA, I receive a $2000 stipend for the national certification. Those that are already PA certified school nurses who carry a masters degree and on the professional agreement have the option to move columns to M+30. Because I am not I can only receive the stipend. I am the first in my district with a BSN and not a masters.
