Hello everyone! One of your colleagues is looking for ideas for publishing a newsletter. Is your association publishing a newsletter? If so, can you share what software you are using or the process you use? Thank you so much!

In MA, we use Constant Contact for our newsletters. It's fairly easy to use & you can view analytics for each issue. We pay a communications consultant a set hourly rate for her time.

We just started doing a newsletter in Wisconsin and we are using Canva.

I use Canva for our newsletters. You can use it for free--there are some images that will have watermarks but typically it is not an issue.
I have been publishing a newsletter for over 2 years and wanted to share some takeaways so far--
    1. I used to publish monthly but over time I have switched to quarterly and I find it much more manageable.
    2. I also had different layouts each month and have since changed to a consistent layout--also saving some time and my brain space ;)

I will attach 2 of our newsletters as an example. In Canva, once you are done, if you download as a PDF any links that you embed will stay active. I then share with our Board of Directors and ask District Representatives to send out the newsletter to their members. I link past newsletters on our website.

We don't currently publish a newsletter in Indiana either - we have in the past when they were mailed out!  Thanks to everyone for sharing your information on your status and newsletter strategies....

We just started sending out a newsletter again. We use constant contact and have a template set up through there.
