Thank you for the information Pat. I was more curious if districts cover testing costs or if one is given an educational allowance for it.
You are correct about the certification and master's degree. One is actually required by the State Department of Education within 5 or 10 years with a waiver after the initial education license is obtained. This is in addition to our state nursing license.

NBCSN has a Certification Justification Toolkit available to help plead your case for exam payment and or a stipend. Doesn't MA accept certification in lieu of a Masters degree?

We pay on our own for everything as well.
In my district, we do not receive an additional stipend.

I work in Chicago and paid my own way for everything. Test preps practice tests testing fee. We then receive an annual 2k every school year.
What about you!?

For those who have taken the exam, does your employer cover the cost or are you paying the registration yourself?
Just curious.
Congratulations to all who have recently passed and best of luck to those taking it soon.
