I passed the exam today with a 700! I know the e-course (a big thank you to Janice for creating this format for us to learn, your knowledge is admirable and contributions to school nurses is incredible!), review book, study cards and practice exams aided in my success. It was a tough exam but I felt prepared to answer many of the questions. I listened to the e-course 3 times, made flashcards with Quizlet, and completed this study group's recommendations/review. I also had a study partner to quiz each other and help in areas that I needed more time with. I learned so much over the last few months that will positively impact my practice and students. Thank you for all the support!

So grateful that we had each other to study!!! I passed yesterday as well with a 664!! There is no doubt in my mind that the nurse builders e-course is what helped me pass. Janice did an amazing job at preparing me for that test!! Congratulations to everyone! Our hard work paid off!!

Congratulations to all that passed! I passed yesterday. I was so thankful for the in person review course (would be similar to the ecourse) to help focus my studying. I had told my husband if I didn't pass it would be because I don't speak medical terminology anymore! I do the assessments but don't refer to them by the names because noone I work with would know what I am talking about :) That was an area I'm glad I focused on because there were several questions that were definitely medical terminology focused.

Congratulations again to those that have a broader knowledge of what school nursing is all about (it is so all encompassing!) and to those that have achieved certification.

Kudos to everyone wanting to take the next step. Congrats to the ones who achieved certification.

I used the review book, practice exams, challenge the school nurse questions, Nurse builders test taking techniques, made notecards on question I missed. This discussion group has also been helpful.

I went to a PSI site. Personal items were stored in a locker. They gave paper, pencil, and ear buds. It was a good, enduring experience.

    Best of luck! :)
