I was thinking we dropped the state credentials. I am certified for IL which is a PEL-CSN. My signature would look like BSN, RN, NCSN, PEL-CSN-IL?
I appreciate your guidance!

You will use both unless you leave New Jersey. That CSN-NJ is only valid there.
Warm regards,

Good morning,
I am also from NJ and have my state NJ certification, I am planning to take the National Exam. Once I take it and pass would I drop the state certification too add the national cert; or add both?
Thanks

Congratulations to to that have passed the National Exam. Now it's time to update your automatic signature so that your accomplishment shows up on all your posts! The email you received with your results spells out the proper way to list your degrees, certifications etc...:
You are entitled to use the designation "NCSN" after your name in the following manner:
Jane Doe, BSN, RN, NCSN. No periods are used in NCSN. The proper order for listing your credentials is as follows:
- Education (highest attained degree first)
- Licensure (followed by state designation or requirement)
- National certification (NCSN)
- Awards and honors
- Other Certification
