As we all know, vision and hearing screenings can take up a lot of our time! What are some tips and tricks you use to make the process go a little bit more smoothly at your site
I have developed the habit of pre-labeling vision/hearing result sheets. This way it's easier for me to physically keep track of which students may have been absent, may require a rescreen, or may require a referral. I don't have to keep going back to the computer to pull a list or check what class they are in when pulling them for their screenings/re-screenings. We also have a screening team that will come in to do the initial mass screenings; having pre-labeled sheets helps their process to run more smoothly as well.
